glimpses of marbled sky

a shiver and the sight becomes a pain
we cannot estimate the value soon
such actions mark each as a simple loon

the clouds pass by but do not give us rain
some solitary voice will chant or croon
a shiver and the sight becomes a pain

the honest task's to go against the grain
that is a duty but it's a true boon
time passes slowly yet it's swiftly noon
a shiver and the sight becomes a pain
