a mountain morning

the sudden lifting of the shadow night
sunshine explodes with brilliance of force
we watch the river reach the sea from source

some things we find are naturally right
the way that daylight takes its proper course
the sudden lifting of the shadow night

each takes their lesson from this simple sight
from what is seen the pressure is not coarse
what's done is done without thought or remorse
the sudden lifting of the shadow night

Very nice! Your rhymes are solid. The anapestic substitution on "or remorse" works well to link "remorse" more directly to "coarse". Not to mention the poem makes evident you have a good ear.

Keep writing!
