Justice at last?

In the 1960s, the British turned a number of islands which had been dependencies of Mauritius or the Seychelles into a colony called the British Indian Ocean Territory, and then expelled the population in order for the US to establish a base on the largest island in the colony, Diego Garcia, without any inconvenient black people around. The islanders of the Chagos Archipelago have fought for years to return to their homes (most of which have simply rotted to the ground since the Chagos islands are not used for anything by the Americas). Finally, they have a court judgment that says they can. Perhaps Tony Blair will do something decent, and let the Ilois go home.
