on one side all is green and on the other red and gold
the day is warm but the tree knows earth's turning
far far too soon the days will be raw and cold
summer is long and makes us far too bold
we soon forget harsh winds and for soft cool keep yearning
on one side all is green and on the other red and gold
the leaves are falling rotting becoming fresh mould
or raked together ready for the burning
far far too soon the days will be raw and cold
but we are warm today the year's tale's not told
far out at sea late season storms are churning
on one side all is green and on the other red and gold
the scents are fresh and nothing yet seems old
so much to do so much yet left for learning
far far too soon the days will be raw and cold
but this is a story that was long foretold
the cycle to the same point keeps returning
one one side all is green and on the other red and gold
far far too soon the days will be raw and cold
Odd ravings, comments, and other wastes of time. Some are in plain prose, yet others are in rhyme.
