minerva's flyer
takes wing only at world's dusk
dark times are coming
long sunbeams deny
approaching shadow's power
yet cannot halt it
this is a cycle
we declare in vain attempt
to halt time's turning
in the long run we
will not see sunreturning
yet it too will come
hope's messenger is
slow yet is truly certain
of new sun's warming
