an end to waiting and an end to doubt
not for us now the fury nor the sound
all feet are firmly planted on hard ground
none who are in are now to be sent out
there's no desire to challenge or to flout
orders that have gone the normal round
a new task's been set to start or found
this place from which we'll stand and shout
beyond these partial walls there is a light
arising from new hopes and not from pain
meanwhile the symbols are all held in place
we're grateful for the chances of this night
the grass must spring up after this fresh rain
and brilliance emerge from each new face
Odd ravings, comments, and other wastes of time. Some are in plain prose, yet others are in rhyme.
