the map is not the place that we all know
without it we are lost but does it matter
all that exists moves in continual flow
the day was sunny when there came a blow
to silence all inconsequential chatter
the map is not the place that we all know
repeated images make it seem a show
accompanied by the commentators' patter
all that exists moves in continual flow
from red to blazing white the steel will glow
we see the crash we see the buildings shatter
the map is not the place that we all know
again again we see the planes fly low
explosion comes now with its roar and clatter
all that exists moves in continual flow
the gamble's made upon a single throw
fire blazes burns and surely does not flatter
the map is not the place that we all know
all that exists moves in continual flow
Odd ravings, comments, and other wastes of time. Some are in plain prose, yet others are in rhyme.
