in morning quiet the world is far away
i pause and wait and hope today for rain
we want to pause but know we cannot stay
far from my seat my thoughts soar and stray
what's complex now tomorrow will seem plain
in morning quiet the world is far away
facing my work longing this time to play
i cannot yet the daily round disdain
we want to pause but know we cannot stay
patches of blue appear among the grey
clouds that have come to shelter us again
in morning quiet the world is far away
the serpent comes the one we will not slay
we wait and think but do not cease to strain
we want to pause but know we cannot stay
upon our hopes we know nothing will prey
this quiet morning nothing will restrain
in morning quiet the world is far away
we want to pause but know we cannot stay
Odd ravings, comments, and other wastes of time. Some are in plain prose, yet others are in rhyme.

all mere complexities
