A generation later

The Falklands War was 24 years ago, a whole generation. Yet it still has significance, for the Argentines and for the British. Interestingly, the president of Argentina, NĂ©stor Kirchner, has recently condemned the war as an act of 'cowardly aggression' by the Galtieri dictatorship. Perhaps democratic Argentina is ready to get past the issue. Or perhaps not, as the Grauniad's editorial indicates.
