Civil war in Iraq

Former Iraqi prime minister Iyad Allawi says that Iraq is in civil war. This is, shall we say, a strongly indicative sign that Iraq is experiencing a civil war. Meanwhile, Donald Rumsfeld says that leaving Iraq now would be like conquering Germany and then handing it back to the Nazis. This looks like an application of Godwin's Law.
