This is the song of the International Brigades, sung by the IB that fought in the defence of Madrid: http://www.ingeb.org/Lieder/wirimfer.html The link leads to the text of the song in the original German and in Italian translation, and to an MP3 of the song itself. Below is my (clumsy) translation -- from two languages I don't speak.
We, born in a distant fatherland
Bear no hatred in our hearts.
But we have not forgotten our homeland,
Our homeland now lies before Madrid.
Spanish brothers are at the barricades,
Peasants and proletarians are our brothers.
Forward, International Brigade!
Raise high the flag of solidarity!
Spain's freedom is today our honour,
Our hearts beat international.
To the Devil with the foreign Legionaires,
We'll cast the fascist generals into the sea.
They dreamed taking Madrid would be a parade,
But we were here, and they arrived too late.
Forward, International Brigade!
Raise high the flag of solidarity!
With rifles, bombs and grenades
Will the parasite be eliminated.
With the land free of bandits and pirates
To our Spanish brothers will the land belong.
No mercy for the fascist scum,
No mercy for the traitor dogs.
Forward, International Brigade!
Raise high the flag of solidarity!

Yet the second line has to be the opposite of what You translated;-)
like this:
"Our hearts charged of hatred until atop"
it was not a peace group, but soldiers;-)
