W's tropical resort for his Islamic friends is in the news once again. It's very easy for W and his mouthpieces to announce that rights are being respected in some way, and that his policy has kept the US from being attacked since 2001 (although this would be cold comfort to the Indonesians, Spaniards, and Brits). It's very easy for wingnuts to call critics of W's policy traitors, even though treason is explicitly defined in the Constitution(Article III, Section 3) and criticising the president isn't part of that definition). The reality is that the US is making enemies unnecessarily, and the world is becoming a darker place. But W is protected, and will continue to be guarded at taxpayer expense after he leaves office (or will he leave office?), the rest of us, on the other hand...
Odd ravings, comments, and other wastes of time. Some are in plain prose, yet others are in rhyme.
